When practicing anatomy, color, shadow and light, it's easy to lose focus and become depressed about the result.
I relate easily to this kind of difficulty. Sometimes we don't even want to practice on this day, but we know that when we stop practicing we get rusty, resulting in a feeling of guilt.
These 5 rules helped me to understand that we don't need to be stressed, because we are doing something we enjoy and with that should come the reward, the joy of learning and improving.
I put below 5 rules of the Drawfee video that saved me from a lifetime of worries.
Pick any 5 days during the week to practice. Take your breack days whenever you want.
Set a minimum time for each day that is achievable. Continue drawing after that only if you feel like it.
IF YOU MISS A DAY. It doesn't matter, just try again the next day.
Do Not try to do a good job
Focus each week on something you want to improve on.
